Every third Saturday in April is Earth Day. It’s a great reminder that even small actions can make a big difference for our planet 🌍.

I was thrilled when I came across something really cool during my research on recycling - there's a place with over 1,000 locations across the US that will reward you for dropping off items like difficult-to-recycle items like used batteries, pens, markers, and mechanical pencils!

Instead of throwing them in the trash, you can actually get cash-off coupons!  This magical place is STAPLES!

There are SO many things they will take in addition to electronics, cords, small appliances, and ink/toner.  And they will give you anywhere from $10 to $2 (with certain limitations) to use for future purchases.

So I do hope you will start to collect these various items to drop off at your Staples store and do your part for our planet!
