Ultimate Graduation Gift Guide

It is graduation gift-giving season again!  And I know that you want the graduate in your life to USE and enjoy your present.  You don’t want it to be wasted. To prevent this, I want to suggest the following recent 100% graduate approved gifts.

Universally, MONEY is the best gift you can give a recent graduate, or as someone in my FB group said, “Cold Hard Benjamin’s”! But you may think “oh, it is so impersonal!” If so, I encourage you to give money in a thoughtful way and show them how you got that number in a lovely card.

  •         Perhaps they graduate in mid-June from High School (6/2022)? 6+2+0+2+2 = 12          multiplied by 12 years of school = $144.
  •         OR 11 times how many years you have known them, or times their GPA? The               options are endless and the cash will be very much appreciated.
  •         IF you know their birthday and exact graduation date, you can see how many days are between the two and give them a check for that amount! Here’s a cute poem you could include as an example.

8-17-1999 was the day of your creation,

Since then I’ve watched you learn and grow with admiration,

Now to congratulate you on the milestone of your education,

Count the days between your birth and your 5-28-22 graduation,

Which equals this gift of $86.86, to honor YOU in celebration!

If a tangible gift is what you are looking for, here are the Graduate Approved suggestions:

Apple AirPod Pro noise-canceling earphones.

Amazon Graduation Gift card.

A set of Matching Luggage.

Fleece Throw Blanket, perhaps in their college color?

Foldable Duffle Bag for weekends away or visiting home.

A Small Tool Set for furniture assembly.

Beverage related:

Keurig Mini for making quick dorm room coffee.

Yeti Water/Coffee Tumbler, which can be engraved.

Tervis Tumbler with their college emblem or initials.

Other suggestions from members of my FB Group included heirloom jewelry and the gift of travel, taking a vacation with them, or sending them on an adventure of their own.

All of these items are heartily approved by recent high school and college graduates and will make you a grand gift giver!

PS: I only recommend products I would use or give myself. As an Amazon Associate, if you use a link to buy something, I may earn a small commission at no cost to you. Thanks!
